As the 2006-07 president of the National School Boards Association, she led a campaign called ‘Snapshots of Success” that featured positive stories and images about what’s right in our public schools.  She believes that schools need to have a “success mentality, not a survival mentality”.

Gallucci has served on numerous boards in Pinellas County including the PACE Center for Girls, Pinellas Planning Council, and YWCA Board of Directors and currently she is involved in Clearwater East Rotary, YWCA Board of Trustees, Mavericks in Education Charter School Board and the Dunedin Fine Arts Advisory Board.

After retiring from the school board in 2008, Gallucci started her own business, Gallucci & Associates and was a partner in Foundation Excellence, LLC. She currently enjoys volunteering for the Villages Foundation Auxillary.
